Six turnip cakes and a pear mousse cake

Spend quite a few hours in the kitchen to make a Pear Charlotte mousse cake for my parents.

And you know what I got in return?

Mom says, oh, maybe you should save the cake for yourself, as my fridge is packed with the 6 turnip cakes that relatives have brought over already.

What more can I say? *sigh* It's really disappointing dealing with your parents sometimes.
